In this paper I will be writing about the benefits of having EI abilities in the workplace and how they may lead to success. Studies have shown there is a strong correlation between high EQ and a healthier more successful workplace. I also explain the five competencies of emotional intelligence, Self-awareness, Self-regulation, Motivation, Empathy, and Social Skills. I will be exploring the four models used as platforms for emotional development and the different ways you can test for Emotional Intelligence and what methods have been created to teach and train on it. I will also explore the possibilities of introducing Emotional Intelligence and the importance of EQ in primary to post-secondary education.Collections
