Many Individuals attitudes toward cosmetic or plastic surgery have developed over the years. Individuals of all different races, ethnicity, gender and age want to put their best face and self forward , assuming that appearance is the key to success in life. People make their own decisions and choose to go under the knife. Examining these individuals drives and the factors that lead to cosmetic surgery shows how our surroundings have a paramount influence on our decisions.The factors examined in this paper are religion, social media, celebrities impact, television, fear, health, or having improved self esteem. All of these factors help influence or drive an individual's decision on whether to get plastic surgery or not. In our world today we are exposed to cosmetic surgery everywhere we look and in today’s society it has became normalized due to technology and generation growth.Collections
