I wrote this manual to be a tool for future Purchase stage managers and the like. This will help guide a stage manager through the basics of what it takes to put on a college production. For this manual, I took my experiences from Purchase theatre and the professional productions I have worked on to aid in creating a smoother production process. Though I didn't give away all my little tricks, this will be extremely useful for any stage manager, beginning or otherwise, when beginning a new project. I wish I had something like this in my back pocket when I first started at Purchase, but with all the classes I've taken and the many stage, production, and company managers I have met during my theatrical education I believe I now have a well-rounded view of what it takes to make a production come together for opening night.Collections
