dc.description.abstract | The main purpose of this study was to find out whether or not exercising affects your mental health to a certain extent. Using Instagram through grounded theory and content analysis, I found that exercising affects one physical transformation, their motivation and their mental health. Finding these themes, I found that when people are exercising they are trying to transform into a better self. They have found it to be their escape which helped them with their challenges. People have seen nothing but positive effects when it comes to exercising. Quitting was never an option that’s how dedicated these people are. This study is a good example to those that think nothing is possible and that whatever they are going through mentally and physically can progress for the better. Building a strong and healthy mind proves that you can overcome your weaknesses. | |
