    Abstract
This is a full length, two-act, 120 page stage-play with an estimated run time of two and one half hours.  The structure of this play is a contemporary two-act narrative with a modern writing style that simultaneously preserves the three classical unities of Greek drama. The writing itself places high emphasis on themes of class immobility, societal oppression, and environmental collapse. In terms Genre, the play is monolithic, but is similar to contemporary science fiction.  Inspirational works for this piece were A Modest Proposal, by Jonathan Swift, Blasted, by Sarah Kane, and Player Piano, by Kurt Vonnegut. Plot Synopsis: In the near future of a world much like our own, the resources of the planet have dwindled to the point where only a very privileged few can live to adulthood in a place called The Homestead. Thanks to the marvels of technology, these lucky few are able to live in absolute luxury and safety. However, this new world sustains itself through a much larger youth underclass who serve as both menial labor and a reliable food source. Once these children turn 18, they have the opportunity to apply for citizenship and the chance to live their adult lives. When the high achieving Liv, applies for her citizenship, she is unexpectedly denied. She finds herself in Revision Room Delta along with two other rejects, Kurt and Jorge, with only 50 hours to figure out how to make it to The Homestead. More complications arrive in the form of Rabbit and Bunny, two revolutionaries from outside of this society who are hell-bent on destroying it. During her time in Revision Room Delta, Liv uncovers dark truths about the world around her and eventually becomes someone capable of surviving in it.
