The purpose of this thesis was to determine the effectiveness of Lawsone in treating different fungal strains. Adding different concentrations of an aqueous solution to a culture of the strains should show at what concentration lawsone has an inhibiting effect. But since the solubility of lawsone in water is very low inhibition was not detected. However, adding lawsone to the agar which was then inoculated showed inhibition in growth at various concentrations depending on the strain and the days of incubation.Accessibility Statement
