This project consists of three stages of work, each interrelated with the fleeting moments of time that our lives consist of, and what we do (or do not do) with that time. It commences with a focus on capturing the interplay between light and shadow to create images about being present and time moving forward. Then the first tipping point shifts my practice to making work about our nation’s battle with a viral pandemic. The pandemic ultimately sheds a glaring light on the second tipping point, America’s unresolved systemic racism, shifting my work once more.Accessibility Statement
