This thesis describes the author’s work on a production of Rajiv Joseph’s Gruesome Playground Injuries, in which he played one of the two lead roles, joined with an analysis of codependent relationships. Also included are the author’s reflections on his artistic endeavors as an actor, as he learned what it takes to create and flesh out a work of theatre in a manner that is respectful and true, and then applied it to the production.Accessibility Statement
