“Eat Up, You Vultures” is a collection of my family's recipes. These are recipes my family has been making for years and what my siblings and I grew up eating. This collection of recipes tell a story of family history through cooking. I made this book as a way to archive some of my family’s history. There are recipes in this book that have never been written down previously. Some were scribbled on a piece of paper and are hardly legible or so loved that the grease stains have started to degrade the paper. This process of archiving was extremely important to me to make sure these relics were not lost to time. The recipes come from so many different sources, Some are artifacts of old school baking recipes like my Grandma's Pound Cake recipe. Other recipes are more modern recreations of dishes from our favorite restaurants. Most of these recipes have been passed down through multiple generations and tell a rich history of a love of food and family.Accessibility Statement
