Abstract Background: Locally sourced organic foods have been a part of food production and agriculture. Examining the benefits of organic food production and consumption to one’s health and wellbeing will determine the importance of organic foods in a society. Environmental and personal health are at the forefront of this study. Objective: The objective of this study is to examine how organic foods can benefit one’s lifestyle. Design and Method: The research method is based on current/preexisting studies regarding organic food consumption. Survey studies and observational studies in supermarkets and agricultural facilities will determine the role of organic products in a person’s life. Observing incentives behind purchase of product is also part of design. Results: This study shows that people buy organic products for the health benefits.
