dc.description.abstract | Kamayan is a sticker project meant to showcase the importance of food within Filipino culture. Food is a fundamental way in which we share a part of ourselves with others and provides opportunities to come together, celebrate, and form the communities we otherwise would not have living outside the Philippines. The project narrative starts from the conception of the original idea, how the project changed in response to events happening in the world, utilizing virtual interviews to further explore the project theme, and the final process of creating the stickers. | |
