dc.description.abstractFalling on Purpose was a one-man show created and performed in order to fulfill the senior project requirements needed to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance under the Solo Performance concentration. This paper includes an artistic aims statement, a technical essay depicting the technical process of creating the piece, a research essay exploring how clowns fit into contemporary society, and a number of photos from the show.
