dc.description.abstract | Inza Martinez works and lives in upstate New York. She works primarily in oil paint, acrylic, pen and ink. The dichotomy of her life versus her political views plays a huge role in her practice. Her intention of her work is for the viewer to see that there are challenges within our conventional outlooks of power and privilege. She tries to guide the viewers by adding blacklight to reflect her dilemma of duality and how it can communicate when seen subconsciously. | |
