dc.description.abstract | For military service members, readjusting to being home from a combat zone can be one of the most difficult journeys, and not everyone is able to come home the way they left. Too many veterans return home with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD) and find themselves struggling to receive the help they need. This paper identifies the characteristics of PTSD, and will discuss how Music Therapy and application of the arts into veterans lives can assist in the healing process of veterans working through PTSD. | |
