Many theories and studies have been set forth to explain the things that appear unexplainable. The study that I have researched is that of Parapsychology. Parapsychology studies living organisms and their interactions with their environment in ways that transcends known and widely undisputed laws of nature. The study focuses on three events associated with human experience which include mind-matter interaction, ESP, and survival studies. This paper discusses how different cultures react to Parapsychology while focusing on how things like religion, law, and customs interfere or contribute to the success of the paranormal acceptance or condemnation. In this paper, I will be discussing the findings and interpretations of different studies through anthropological research. I will be delving into the differences between several cultures and religions as well as how these topics are affected by their specific beliefs and traditions. I will also be touching on the history of Parapsychology and its main forefathers.Accessibility Statement
