I write about the hardships that the Russian Jews have faced over time, from Catherine the Great until the Russian revolution in 1917. I focused on two Russian, non Jewish, neo-Primitivist artists, Mikhail Larionov and Natalia Goncharova. I explore why they focused on Jews in their works, was it because they were exotic? Because they were different? Or did they want to showcase their oppression? Maybe all 3.Collections
