This paper will discuss the relevance that the Broadway musical Fiddler on the Roof has during the times it has been revived. Two revivals in particular will be the focus in this paper, the 2015 Broadway revival and the 2018 revival completely in Yiddish. The 2015 will coincide with the Syrian Refugee Crisis and the 2018 the rise in anti-Semitism in the United States
