The Healing Tarot is an investigation into narrative, documenting my growth from an eating disorder and body image issues. Taking the form of a 78-card tarot deck, each card I illustrated depicts a feeling, a thought, or a real experience of mine, grappling with food or distorted self-image. The tarot cards examine introspection as well as my own take on traditional tarot imagery. Every aspect is hand-drawn, from the cards to the box to the booklet.  This deck is an autobiographical exploration, an abstraction of my own thoughts, feelings, and experiences, but can and should be used by anyone. It is a tribute to my healing, to everyone’s version of healing. It's my most personal project to date, and has become more than just a deck of cards: it's grown into a method of closure and self-acceptance.
