Even as I am now, there are things to change is a collection of short fiction and poetry that explores a complicated dynamic between a daughter and her divorced parents under a gaze of dissociation. This askew loneliness is most focused in the fragmented relationships the protagonist has with each parent, consistently challenging her desire to belong somewhere whether it's emotional or corporeal. The project engages in a conversation about a lack of loving and how it branches throughout one's place in the world.Collections
