dc.description.abstract | When complete strangers with completely different lives go into a seemingly vibrant tattoo shop, they had no idea that they would be leaving with powers they now possess through their ink. When two of these strangers, Harlow, an ex-special forces soldier, and August, a carnival performer, find each other, they form a quick but surreal bond. Convinced there are others out there like them, they begin a search. In doing so, they must navigate their shifting moral compasses and craft a new meaning of truth and trust. | |
