In this essay, we will explore the work of Brazilian artist Lygia Clark and her contribution to contemporary art and the field of participation phenomenology. Clark was a key figure in the development of this movement, which emerged in the 1960s and sought to create an interactive experience between the artist and the viewer. Through the use of unconventional materials and techniques, Clark sought to challenge traditional notions of artmaking and create an environment where viewers could engage with art in a more meaningful way. We will examine how Clark's work has shaped by participation phenomenology and discuss its implications for contemporary art. Keywords: [Lygia Clark; Interactive Art; Aesthetic experience; Participation phenomenology]Collections
