This senior project involved performing the role of Charlie in the original one-act play "Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup" by Taylor Maxim. The work explores what it means to be a queer performer from both a personal and societal perspective. Through the analysis of goals within the creative production, an inner view of being a queer performer is represented, while research into the films "But I'm a Cheerleader" and "Jennifer's Body" portray how queer performance has been externally received.Collections
