Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy was used to analyze HFE-227, a hydrofluoroether that has not been fully studied. The transitions from the microwave spectra were assigned using PGOPHER on a MacBook. The GAMESS software on ChemCompute was utilized for the quantum calculations needed to obtain the rotational constants A, B and C. The spectra for the C-13 isotopologues were attempted to be assigned as well, but were not successful. The use of PGOPHER on a Mac to assign transitions was successful, and a manual was created to aid in future research.Accessibility Statement
