Background: There's a great percentage of senior citizens that would go through a loss of certain abilities like for example, to communicate, to move, but mostly to think about and remember things, places, and people. This would happen to be called "Alzheimer's Disease". A rare disease the falls under the umbrella of dementia. Objective: The main objective of this study is to raise awareness about Alzheimer's Disease while researching some kind of a mitigation for people who have Alzheimer's Disease. Design and Method: The research method is mainly based on the usage of peer-reviewed literature consisting of scholarly articles, online articles, as well as one song. The research that had been performed is coming from qualitative nature which includes literature from the medical and the musical fields. The main research questions for this study to answer would be: Is there a cure or mitigation for Alzheimer's Disease? How does music mitigate people who fall under AD? Is Music the only cure for Alzheimer's Disease? Results: The significance of this study is that people can start to add more ways to view how music is used throughout our daily lives. Conclusions: This research about this phenomenon does come up with a few solutions. One is that there is a way to mitigate people with Alzheimer's Disease. Another viewpoint would say that there are all sorts of therapies that doctors would practice for a mitigation. The third reasoning would be although there are a lot of forms of therapy, music itself would happen to be the most reliable source of mitigation for patients with AD.
