    Abstract
This piece is a self-reflective journal that documents my personal growth over the years. I wrote this as a reflection of what I went through and how it mirrored my artistic journey. This is a collection of excerpts from my journals from 2014 up until now. I reflect on my childhood to teenage traumas, life-changing relationships, insecurities leading to mental health issues, and responsibilities that come along with adulting. Despite my best efforts, unexpected challenges and experiences hindered my creativity and I hit Artist's Block more times than I can explain. My journal has been a tool through which I have built my strongest and most enduring relationship; the one I created with myself. I align with my truest and authentic self during the process of writing this book by listening to what speaks to my soul. Taking the time to develop this gave me the opportunity to draw, print and bind a book that signifies the importance of my art while also giving me incentive to get back into creating. This will be a book I can refer to when I need a reminder of my growth and a book I can share with others who also hit creative blocks as an Artist.
