When asked what I wanted to be when I grow up, I only had one answer: happy. This project is about a my struggle with depression and the constant battle with my inner self. Using printmaking as an introspective tool, I explore themes of identity, growth, adulthood, and change. I record and memorialize my changing states in self perception, each print a time-capsule immortalizing a temporary version of myself.
