dc.description.abstract | This paper explores how music can be used therapeutically for individuals struggling with different types of illnesses. Through qualitative research, it is evident that music can enhance one's mood, self-esteem, and quality of life with the help of professional music therapists. It is essential to acknowledge the history of music therapy and recognize the potential impact music therapy can have as a supplementary treatment option. With an increase in advocacy and awareness, more individuals will be able to utilize music as a means for rehabilitation and can have the opportunity to take more control over their lives. | |
