Abstract This project is about the struggles college students with disabilities may have had with their time learning remotely during the pandemic. Specifically, what are the challenges of remote learning for students with learning disabilities? For someone with a disability, I found it very difficult to learn online. I found it difficult to focus on what I was doing; listened to lectures for long periods and lacked motivation to do the coursework. To top it all off there was a deadly virus that was taking lives left and right so I couldn’t even go outside for a break. All these struggles made me wonder about the other students with disabilities and how they dealt with having to learn online. I want to see if they had the same struggles I did, or possibly others. How were they able to conquer their struggles or did it eat away at them as it did me? For this project, I will search different social media platforms such as TikTok and YouTube to locate interviews that may explain how remote learning can be difficult for students with and without learning disabilities.Collections
