An overly stereotyped, stigmatized, and often lightly used term is that of “OCD”. Mainstream associations are usually an archetype of someone who is manically clean, fearful of the dirt and grime of everyday life. They have compulsions to repeat particular behaviors, and are incredibly efficient at doing so. Our current culture is so integrated with “mental health awareness” to the point that there’s a pressure to label ourselves with disorders, to categorize ourselves by our diagnosis.Collections
