The methods employed in this paper support a multitude of crucial conclusions that shed light on the intricate nature of the sneaker resale market. The research highlights the crucial link between shoe brands and the secondary market, delving into how marketers intentionally create scarcity and exclusivity to drive up demand and increase prices in the secondary market. Additionally, it emphasizes the significance of partnerships for sneaker companies' secondary market relevance and appeal, as limited-edition releases featuring notable individuals or brands tend to perform exceptionally well. Furthermore, the article explores the highly competitive landscape of the shoe reselling industry, showcasing the aggressive rivalry among resellers to acquire rare footwear and maximize profits, drawing upon empirical data and vendor viewpoints.
