Historically, the Black radical tradition has been used to combat structures rooted in colonialism and anti-Blackness. I use Black radical tradition, or more specifically, Black radical theory as a framework to explore subjects about the Black condition. This tradition becomes an apparatus for me to deconstruct these same anti-Black structures that exist within the digital frontier, the American landscape, and imperial Christianity through painting.Collections
