This paper aims to analyze different museums and programs as well as their role in creating societal change. It should be noted that, while museums and arts organizations cannot end injustices regarding immigration, they have the power and platform to serve as allies towards immigrants and ease tensions in the midst of anti-immigration sentiments. Museums and arts organizations help create social change through partnerships with local organizations, creating fruitful dialogue through exhibitions, spreading awareness, and taking action to empower immigrants. The role of arts institutions are pivotal to the pressing need to challenge the oppressive systems that subject immigrants to violence and prejudice.
