This project is an analysis of the European witch trials, focusing on Germany in specific. This project's goal is to examine the general background of the trials and how they occurred, to examine the primary sources that played major roles – The Malleus Maleficarum in particular, and to determine how the study of this witch craze relates to gender and women.
