This study examined college students' understanding of spirituality, what spiritual practices do they take part in, and why. There were nine interviews conducted with college undergraduate students. Results showed that students' definitions of spirituality were separated from religion and focused more on their sense of self and well-being. Students take part in various practices to better themselves and have a relationship with themselves, such as music, exercise, mediation, affirmations, and cultivating positive mindsets.Collections
