This senior project in Theatre & Performance involved directing a theatre production of Lucas Hnath's The Christians. This production was directed with the purpose of highlighting individuality within group settings and the consideration of perception within judgment and perspective. The work was supported by research pertaining to the lack of female agency in American Evangelical Church settings. This formulated a thorough analysis of patriarchal cognizance within religious works such as Golden Child by David Henry Hwang and CHURCH by Young Jean Lee.Collections
