Following a car accident and an extended stay at a mental hospital, a depressed young man, Gene, is sent to live with his older brother Charlie. The brothers have not spoken in years and their reunion is hindered by a lack of trust, past trauma and Gene's mental health issues. As they try to adjust to their new relationship, a figment of Gene's psychosis, simply known as Andrew, reappears and threatens to cripple his fragile mental stability, pushing him towards suicide. The brothers' question whether or not they can resolve Gene's issues, and by extension, their tension with each other before Gene relapses.
