Weimar Berlin was well known as a nucleus for gay culture, even in its infancy. Berlin acted as a starting point for homosexual theory, activism, and science Less well known, however, was the lesbian side of Berlin, a subculture that flourished just as much in the interwar period with less than half of the renown, this project analyzes the life and culture of this period from the perspective of queer women.Accessibility Statement
