This thesis explores the ways in which imagery of the mundane can explore personal and universal narrative through the lens of a feminine youth in small town America. Hands-on processes including drawing, printmaking, ceramics, and fibers are used to describe stories that place specificity at odds with ubiquity, create community through language, and capture memory.Accessibility Statement
