dc.description.abstractIn certain communities, Dominican immigrants in the United States have maintained certain aspects of their culture. One way that Dominican immigrants have maintained their presence in society is through the shared cultural experience of baseball. The impact of baseball in the Dominican Republic and the United States has led the Major League Baseball organization to recruit many young Dominican talent through a complex system.
