The world of erotica is vast, containing stories meant to satisfy sexual fetishes and kinks of all kinds. Even darker themes, such as rape, kidnapping, and imprisionment. Enter: NonCon. This genre of erotica stands apart from the rest for its conscious choice of removing the element of consent from the picture. Yes, that's right. There's writing out there all about rape, sexual assault, and all those other awful themes you hear about and shudder at. You might ask yourself: what compels people to write these awful stories? Why would someone want to write about the stuff we've come to know as especially heinous? And does its existence impact anti-rape movements such as #MeToo? This project aims to explore the world of NonCon erotica through talks with multiple NonCon authors and other experts on literature while also exploring various erotica works throughout time. It is a means to introduce readers to those that create this stuff and tell them their stories. What got them into it, what their thoughts on writing this kind of stuff are, and more.Collections
