As a practice witchcraft is able to empower women through political activism, healing and community building. In my study I surveyed 50 videos under #WitchTok in order to determine whether these aspects of female empowerment translated to the online community of WitchTok. Through my research I found that although there are some aspects of female empowerment on WitchTok; the major focus on the app is on what Miller coins the "witchy aesthetic".
