Senior Project: Birthing Life From Imagination

Abstract

My senior thesis is about the use of my imagination, fiction, and everyday objects in creating zany, crude, and chaotic characters through painting. I use fictional characters from various sources to help me transform objects into uniquely designed characters. Through multiple sketches, textures, marking making, crazy compositions, and a child like enthusiasm I create a cast of creatures that are born from my imagination.
