Scars, hair, and stretch marks are parts of the body. They are features people try to cover up because society has told us they aren’t “pretty” to look at. Making photographs of mine and other female bodies in compromising positions has led to the creation of images that convey a sense of intimacy and vulnerability. This project is meant to motivate viewers to re-examine their own biases, prejudices, and society’s so-called imperfections, while also offering an empathetic view through the photographsAccessibility Statement
