This paper serves as an in depth study and examination of my artistic process, including themes, inspirations, how I got to where I am now, and why creating art matters to me so much. To summarize, my process serves as a process of discovery. It is a means to ground myself back to the real world, away from being disconnected from reality. Art making keeps me not just more in tune with myself, but more in tune with those around me when I can have that dialogue between art, audience, and artist. Art has a particular way of calling out to various aspects within myself that I leave behind, which only reveals itself among my subconscious process. This act of personal discovery into grounding myself to reality has become essential in being the reason why I create.
