The Path of a Writer

Abstract

Becoming a writer and succeeding as a writer can be two different things. You're the one that decides how to measure it, and when you can yell, “I made it!” This paper gives you an inside at three of the different paths you can take to get to that finish line. It will explore what it's like to become a writer by attending higher education, doing it yourself through self-learning, and becoming a writer by building connections. This paper will also touch on experiences. Because what’s a writer if you don't experience what you are writing for? Upcoming Latino writers like me will join these previous groups of Latinos writers to fight for the same goal, to write without limitations.
