dc.description.abstract | This Senior Project in Theatre & Performance focuses on Stage Management within the original jukebox musical titled Rough With Love by Chelsie Chamberlain & Spencer Scalamoni. The goal of this project is to effectively execute this student-run adaption of Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare for a unique and contemporary audience. There is a major focus on the punk-grunge aesthetics of the 1990s to early 2000s to achieve the overall desired theme of the production. This work is supported by extensive research on various prior adaptions of Romeo & Juliet utilizing films, music, & other theatrical productions. | |
