dc.description.abstract | Fate of Captive Orcas is about the abuse of orca whales in captivity and bringing awareness to this issue. Displayed on the wall are 216 photos of a stuffed orca whale that is gradually getting destroyed over the course of the photos. The number of photos represents how many orca whales have currently died in captivity. Alongside the photos is also a QR code, that links to a website where people can take action to stop the abuse of orcas. The goal of this project is to bring awareness to the problem and offer a chance to take action in helping stop animal cruelty. | |
