The project “Calls From the Crossroad” is an interactive world-building space of stories, objects, and designs from personal dreams that are displayed in an exhibit. These objects serve as physical evidence of the overall subconscious world being created by the various dreams, all of which have their own conventions and timelines. A written collection of all dream sequences are cataloged within a dream journal that the audience is able to access and refer to for in-depth explanations of the objects’ stories and their context. An online archive also serves as a digital record of all exhibit objects and, if explored thoroughly enough, contains hidden information about characters or events that are not otherwise directly mentioned within the exhibit space.
