Merit, is something you do that is worthy of an award given for you accomplishments, most commonly seen in the form of badges, like those given in Girl and Boy Scouts. My work plays into ideas of self-reward and what qualifies for merit. Through conversations, research and craft I discover what merit means to me and learning how to appreciate small acts of merit.
