dc.description.abstractInspired by the contradiction that lies between Fascist claims of Aryan superiority against a pre-existing narrative of southern inferiority, this project seeks to better understand the relationship between both Fascism and the Southern Question, and Mussolini and the southerners—characterizing said relationship as a mutually shallow glorification.
